Website guide
How to use our website
Take the 1-minute tour, or tap a topic for the steps.
Getting around the website
The menu at the top of every page takes you to each part of the site: About, Classes, Events, Adhkar and News, with Resources and the Gallery under More.
- 1Tap the Madrassa logo at any time to return to the home page.
- 2Donate and Enquire are the buttons at the top right; the bag icon next to them is your cart.
- 3Contact, News & Newsletters, Events, this Website Guide and our policies are listed at the bottom of every page.
- 4The home page gives a short tour of everything: our classes, the Class Finder, workbooks, photos, the latest news, weekly giving and how to visit us.
Using the website on your phone
The website is made to work well on a phone.
- 1Tap the menu button (three lines) at the top right to open the menu. Tap the cross to close it.
- 2On a phone, a Donate button stays in the bottom corner as you scroll.
- 3To save the website to your home screen, open your browser's menu and choose "Add to Home screen".
About the Madrassa
Learn who we are and how we teach.
- 1Open About from the menu.
- 2Read our story since 2013, our mission and vision, and our values.
- 3"How we teach" explains our step-by-step approach to Qur'an, Arabic literacy and Islamic character.
Finding the right class
Each class page explains what is taught, the ages it suits, the subjects, the learning goals and the workbook used.
- 1Open Classes from the menu to see every class, then tap one for the details.
- 2Or open the Class Finder and answer a few short questions about your child.
- 3The Class Finder suggests a class — you can send that suggestion straight to the Madrassa as an enquiry.
Learning resources and workbooks
Our own Khatwi handwriting workbooks, and resources for Qur'an, Tajwid, Islamic Studies and Arabic.
- 1Open Resources from the menu.
- 2Resources are organised by class, so you can see what your child uses.
- 3Look inside the Khatwi workbooks through the sample pages shown.
- 4Resources for home are listed under "For Families" as they become available.
Asking about a place
An enquiry is not a commitment — it simply lets the Madrassa know you are interested.
- 1Open Admissions (or press Enquire at the top of any page).
- 2Fill in your name, your child's name and age, and anything you'd like us to know.
- 3Choose how you'd like to be contacted: phone, WhatsApp or email.
- 4Press Send. You'll see a confirmation, and the Madrassa will get back to you.
News and newsletters
News shares updates from the Madrassa. The weekly newsletter is a short PDF for families: what the children are learning, a dua to learn together, ideas for home and dates to remember.
- 1Open News from the menu. News & updates are at the top; the Weekly newsletter is below them.
- 2Tap an issue's cover to read it, or Download PDF to keep it on your phone.
- 3To get each issue by email, enter your email under "Get the newsletter in your inbox every week" and press Subscribe. Every email has a link to stop.
- 4Share any post or issue by copying its link into WhatsApp.
Events and tickets
Upcoming events are listed with their date, time and place.
- 1Open Events from the menu and choose an event.
- 2If it has tickets, press Book tickets. Choose how many adults and children are coming and enter each person's name, so every ticket is in its holder's name.
- 3Enter your email (the tickets are sent there) and, for a paid event, the M-Pesa number that will pay. Enter your M-Pesa PIN on your phone when the prompt arrives.
- 4Your tickets are emailed to you, each with its own QR code. Show it at the door, on your phone or printed.
